Arising from a masterplan undertaken by Tanner Kibble Denton Architects in 2001, this sophisticated design was completed in 2004 and links the various levels and facilities of the School. The new school provides a contemporary educational facility that complements the senior school adjacent and integrates with the historic terraced landscape of East Sydney.

All classrooms are cross ventilated and open onto informal play spaces. The complex also includes a library and art rooms. A handsome open spiral stair and a lift link the various levels of the primary school. Together with the entry forecourt, this stair provides a central focus to the compact school.
